Your appointment is 50 minutes and will be held weekly or bi-weekly, dependant on your needs.

Therapeutic Philosophy

Taking a client-centred base whilst honouring the past, Abigail utilises person centred and psychodynamic counselling and introduces cognitive behavioural and mindfulness techniques. Working with the diversity of client needs, attention is given to mind, body and spirit and is seen as a shared effort between client and therapist. Abigail’s priority is bringing awareness and healing to you. You will be encouraged to tap in to the true voice that is within.

Why come to Counselling?

Individual counselling can help to bring some clarity where there is confusion, to help resolve past issues, to help change behaviours and to improve relationships. Perhaps you would like to address other immediate issues such as loss and bereavement, sexuality, spirituality, abuse and job stress.
The relationship you build with your counsellor is confidential and will help you to become more self empowered. It is an opportunity to facilitate growth and change. Abigail offers a non judgemental service, she is warm and down to earth and listens with compassion and humour.

Why do children and young people come to Counselling?

Sometimes just talking to a parent or a teacher is not enough. Knowing then that there is a place to offload problems and talk openly in a confidential environment can help to put things on the right track. Perhaps you are dealing with a loss or bereavement, being bullied or abused in some way. You may be under pressure with exams and study, or feel depressed for some reason. Whatever the reason, by bringing it to counselling, it can be looked at without fearing you’re hurting someone else.
Abigail will also liaise with schools and colleges.

Abigail welcomes clients from all; genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, abilities, spiritual practices and economic backgrounds.

For fees, initial consultation or appointment please contact Abigail on 07533 619 946 or email eatonmasters@googlemail.com
