I have a history of weight issues. I spent many years yo-yo dieting and obsessing with weight and calories. I also had a hip replacement aged 45. Then I had the opportunity to walk 60 miles along the Great Wall of China for charity – that was to be my turning point. I knew diets didn't work, so I embarked on a healthy eating regime and began to exercise. I lost 3 stone, and have kept it off by eating fresh, healthy foods most of the time, and a little of what I fancy occasionally. Like you, I have birthdays, holidays and Christmas to contend with, but because I have learnt to eat healthily I never needed to diet again! Today I'm not skinny, but I am extremely fit and healthy and never get ill!
As The Personal Nutritionist I help and advise my clients as they change their eating habits. Some want to lose weight, others just want to have more energy, improve their health and feel fantastic!
Most people come to me feeling tired and stressed so we get the body working well at digesting food, assimilating nutrients and evacuating waste. This can be done by eating simple, nutrient rich foods that are easy to digest.
If I had to describe my business with one word, that word would be 'support'. I support people as they turn change into habit.

What's involved?
I will ask you to fill in a questionnaire and a 3 day food diary prior to your first visit. From this information I will make recommendations that will bring positive changes to your eating. Then together we will work out what sustainable changes you can make.
Topics to be covered are:
- Where you are now
- What you want to achieve
- Setting of realistic, achievable goals
- What food you eat now
- When and how you eat
- Any special dietary needs
- Any medical information
We will also talk about how to make the right choices, whether eating at home or in restaurants to stay in line with your nutritional plan, and identify some healthy meal and snack suggestions which are right for you.
