After 20 years as an independent practitioner in the
commercial sector, I thought the time was right to expand my
business into the realms of private practice. With this, I
hope to bring a wealth of experience from my time in
Occupational Health as well as that from the sports field as
a former U21 England ladies hockey honorary physiotherapist.
As a clinical specialist in Occupational Health, I have the
expertise to tailor rehabilitation to match the functional
demands of work and so avoid any mismatches between the
capabilities of the patient and the demands of their work.
With my keen interest in the sports field, I thrive with the
challenge of restoring patients back to their particular
sport for both the recreational and the more serious
participants.
I am able to offer a variety of treatment modalities from
the more traditional acupuncture to the modern forms of
electrotherapy, mobilisation and manipulation techniques.
I believe that effective healthcare treatment is derived
from a holistic approach, taking into account the needs and
expectations of the patient through an integrated approach
from the physiotherapist/patient relationship.
